Do I really recommend these GMT-Master replica Rolex watches from Gold Factory? No, I don’t. Just go for the ones with normal weight from Clean.
Gold is a very young watch maker, I think they have been in this business for no more two years, they started producing YachtMaster replicas with increased weight in last year, many dealers promoted their products in the beginning, then they got silent, until Gold publiahed these GMT-Master II, then they came to the public again. There are totally five different GMT-Master watches, 126710BLRO, 126719BLRO, 126718GRNR, 126715CHNR, and the last one is a GMT Rolex with meteorite, which is very popular in this year. These five replica watches indeed have a heavier weight after been ‘improved’ by Gold Factory, take the Pepsi GMT with black dial for example, its weight is up to 195.6grams, you know this watch from Clean is only about 147grams, so, almost 50 grams heavier. However, did Gold factory really use better materials to increase the weight of those replicas? I do not think so, the Platinum or real 18K rose gold or yellow gold in the case and bracelet? Impossible. Gold Factory also claimed that the gold GMT Rolex will never fade, who knows, after making money from you, they won’t service your watch after one year, or even a shorter period like two or three months.
I have checked these GMT Rolex replicas from Gold Factory, the bracelet on each watch has been added with more links, which about two on each end. Like QF has done on their Le Mans Daytona, QF added two links on their Le Mans Daytona to lengthen the bracelet to increase the weight, check the pictures below, two links are about 6.34 grams, and the QF Le Mans Daytona is increased to 176grams. However, what surprised me more was Gold Factory uses more links to increase the weight, I think the bracelet is long enough for men with 21 wrist size. This is not good. The weight of the case back is greatly increased, so is the case.
The advantages of these V2 GMT Master II Rolex from Gold Factory:
1.Like Clean GMT that uses V3 ceramic bezel
2.Much better finish on the case and back than that on previous increased weight versions
3.Deeper and more clear engravings on the lugs back
4.The weight of the entire watch is ever closest to that of genuine watch.
Shortcomings:
1.Too expensive
2.Bracelet is too long, not convenient for men with small or even normal wrist size.
3.Golden models have color difference.
